JOB DESCRIPTION
A tradesman or tradeswoman is a skilled manual worker in a particular trade or craft.
DUTIES AND TASKS
Depending on the trade, tradesman or tradeswoman may perform the following tasks:
- build structures
- fix or maintain systems or equipment
- install or assemble fixtures and fittings
- read plans and specification
- use materials such as timber, metal, glass, paint, plasterboard or other materials
- use hand, power or other tools
- find faults and solve problems in domestic or commercial locations.

- able to cope with the physical demands of the job
- able to work with your hands
- good sense of balance and ability to work at heights
- good at mathematics
- good health and eyesight
- able to work as part of a team
