JOB DESCRIPTION
Festival, exhibition and event coordinators manage all aspects of organising and running an event including working with volunteers, liaising with participants, and organising the logistics and mechanics of the event operations. The coordinator is usually responsible for managing and monitoring the event’s budget and providing reports to funding bodies or sponsors.
DUTIES AND TASKS
Festival, exhibition and event coordinators may perform the following tasks:
- coordinate participants, volunteers, rentals, deliveries, signage, technicians and technical rehearsals
- work with PR committees on event advertising and promotion
- attend meetings relevant to the staging of the event.
