JOB DESCRIPTION
Art Directors act as project managers for film, television or stage productions. They facilitate the production designer's creative vision for all the locations and sets that eventually give the production its unique identity.
DUTIES AND TASKS
Art Directors may perform the following tasks:
- set and monitor budget
- set and review the schedule of work
- organise production designers and construction personnel
- analyse the script to identify props or special items that may require longer lead times
- oversee the production.

- capacity to work long hours
- happy to work away from home for extended periods
